About The Position

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Mc Cook, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This is a driving post, so you will operate company or client vehicles as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter areas.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
Support Allied Universal in maintaining a secure environment by helping to deter unauthorized activities through visible presence and routine patrols.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
