Job Description As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Orovada, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, where you will be responsible for covering multiple areas and interacting with staff and visitors, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying credentials, and directing visitors as needed.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents or security-related matters.
• Support emergency response activities and participate in drills as required by the site.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
