About The Position

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Corning, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the location.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
Support emergency response activities in alignment with site-specific protocols.
