Job Description As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in East Syracuse, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain clear communication. Requirements
- A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report any security-related irregularities or incidents encountered during patrols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
- Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the location.
- Assist with emergency response activities and follow established protocols as directed by Allied Universal and the site guidelines.
