As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, support access points, and communicate clearly while documenting observations. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points such as gates, doors, and loading dock areas, verifying credentials and directing visitors and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, disturbances, suspicious activity, and medical situations, and escalate to site leadership and/or local responders as required.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts, and preserve information relevant to investigations when needed.
