About The Position

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and remain a visible presence to support a secure environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will provide excellent customer service and communication, working as part of a reliable and agile team that values integrity and puts people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual activities and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with controlling access to the location and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with company and client requirements.
Support emergency preparedness and response efforts as needed.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents and promote a secure environment for employees and visitors.
