As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Front Desk Specialist in Newton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and assisting employees. You will monitor access control systems, support security-related procedures, and help to deter incidents through your presence and attention to detail. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous experience.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to entry, exit, and visitor management.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding security-related matters.
Support emergency response activities at the front desk as required by site procedures.
