Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
- Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with security-related inquiries and site-specific procedures.
- Follow established site-specific policies and procedures, including responding to alarms and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
- Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
- Support emergency response activities as directed, coordinating with Allied Universal management and/or local emergency personnel as needed.
- Maintain a visible presence at key access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment for all personnel.
