Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner while monitoring access to the location's front desk area.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms, and report any unusual activity or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner according to established protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and offering assistance to employees and visitors as needed.
Communicate professionally with location staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
