Job Description As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Irving, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a high-traffic retail mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist shoppers and tenants with customer-focused service. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and communicate clearly with on-site teams. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or employees by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail or mall location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, storefront corridors, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter policy violations and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disorderly conduct, medical calls, and/or suspicious activity, and request additional support when needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, help manage crowd flow during peak periods, and assist with customer direction and information while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate timely information to site leadership, property management, and/or local responders as required.
