As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the premises. Your presence will support a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors, while you respond to incidents, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service. You will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment, collaborating with a team that values integrity, innovation, and putting people first. Requirements

Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations on site in a calm and problem-solving manner, while following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as needed, and reporting any suspicious activity.
Collaborate with retail staff to address potential loss prevention concerns and support store operations.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel at Allied Universal and the client site.
Support a welcoming environment for guests and employees by maintaining a professional demeanor during all interactions.
