Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting as needed according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or hazards to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
Assist with access control and/or visitor management as required by site procedures.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal and client guidelines.
