As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular patrols and staying visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for monitoring different areas while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a primarily driving post is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal guidelines.
Observe and report any unusual activity or situations to the appropriate personnel.
Interact professionally with the public and provide assistance as needed within the retail or mall environment.
