Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail distribution center location.
Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the building and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or unusual occurrences.
Communicate professionally with site staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
