Job Description As a Security Officer - Mall Dispatch in Mason, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will coordinate security-related responses, monitor activity via systems, and support officers in the field with clear communication and timely updates. You will help manage access control and visitor badging, document incidents, and assist guests and store teams with a service-first approach. At Allied Universal, you will work with an agile, reliable team that acts with integrity and delivers through teamwork.

Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail or mall location.
Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service via radio, phone, and/or dispatch systems; coordinate response with on-site personnel and local authorities as directed.
Monitor alarms, CCTV, access control notifications, and/or other systems; document and relay pertinent information to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; provide clear directions to staff and/or visitors during disruptions.
Support regular and random patrol coverage around the business, common areas, and perimeter as needed; complete detailed reports, shift logs, and incident documentation per policy.
