As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist shoppers and tenants with friendly customer service and clear communication. You will complete routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the mall common areas, corridors, loading areas, and exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor assigned areas for irregular activity, policy violations, and/or hazards, and help to deter unwanted activity through high-visibility presence and professional communication.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, lost property inquiries, and/or medical calls while coordinating with local responders as needed.
- Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and/or daily activity reports, and use CCTV and other systems as assigned to support security-related operations.
