As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment. Your presence will be key in managing access points, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Requirements

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and drivers with site-specific procedures and directions.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and escalating when necessary.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for security-related concerns and report irregularities.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
