You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence, conducting routine patrols, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report security-related concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel within the logistics and distribution environment.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
Document observations and security-related incidents according to company and site-specific protocols.
