As a Screener within a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, interacting with visitors and team members, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

Supervisory experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
X Ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter prohibited items from entering the facility, following screening procedures as required for the post profile.
Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related incidents according to company and site protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support operational needs at the logistics and distribution location.
