As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting employees while monitoring access to the facility. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible presence and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, communicating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
Support logistics and distribution operations by assisting with visitor management, deliveries, and access control processes at the front desk.
