Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Fort Mill, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and team members, provide exceptional customer service, and support a secure environment through regular patrols and clear communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the logistics and distribution location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and observe activities to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or other prohibited actions within the logistics and distribution environment.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Remain alert to changing conditions within the logistics and distribution location, adapting patrols and responses as needed.
