As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will engage with visitors and staff, provide outstanding customer service, and respond to situations as needed. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related concerns as they arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, or potential hazards during patrols and while on post.
Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and incidents as needed.
Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises as required by site policy.
Support emergency response activities, including evacuations and/or other site-specific procedures when necessary.
