Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Driver in Ocala, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to support a positive atmosphere, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for vehicle patrols as part of your duties. Join a team that values agility, reliability, and putting people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X Ray screening experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and visitors to provide information and assistance as needed.
Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the site management to support security-related operations within the logistics and distribution environment.
