About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Driver in Bethpage, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately when emergencies arise.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and key access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment.
Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents and emergency response activities.
