Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Assist with visitor management by maintaining accurate logs and providing directions or information as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
- Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to report and document security-related incidents or irregularities.
- Support emergency response activities as required, following site-specific procedures and instructions.
- Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.
