About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Entry Screener in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Screen individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to screening and access control.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, vendors, and/or employees in a professional manner while carrying out security-related procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.
  • Communicate clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding any unusual activities or incidents.
  • Maintain accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities in accordance with established protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
