As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized access.
Monitor security-related systems and access points to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain awareness of the environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and identify potential issues.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, visitors, and staff regarding security-related matters and site policies.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.
