As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out screening procedures for personnel, visitors, and/or packages at the location to help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.
Follow site-specific policies and security-related procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
Provide customer service to all individuals entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location, addressing questions and assisting as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when appropriate.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities and incident reports as required.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations at the logistics and distribution location.
Remain alert to unusual activities or items and report any suspicious behavior to supervisory personnel.
