As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone on-site. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the facility according to established protocols.
Assist in monitoring access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Maintain accurate records of screening activities and report any irregularities to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
