As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence will support a secure environment, and you will provide top-tier customer service while controlling access and assisting with badge procedures. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or materials entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access or movement of prohibited items.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and promote compliance with site policies.
Monitor and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support the operational flow of the logistics and distribution location.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and screening results as required by site procedures.
