As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will maintain a visible presence, manage entry points, and interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, drivers, and employees with access-related inquiries and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and identify potential issues.
Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations observed during shifts.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal management.
Maintain accurate records of access logs, visitor entries, and security-related reports as required by the site.
