As a Security Officer - Logistics Entry Desk in Palmetto, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and team members, helping to maintain a secure environment by managing access control and monitoring badge activity. You will deliver outstanding customer service, support security-related protocols, and embody Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for everyone entering the site. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the initial point of contact for visitors and staff at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and protocols in accordance with client requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of visitor and contractor entry and exit, as well as any security-related incidents or issues.
Communicate promptly and clearly with site management, Allied Universal personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed.
Support the overall security-related operations of the logistics and distribution location by maintaining awareness of surroundings and reporting any suspicious activity.
