As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and patrolling the logistics and distribution location. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by addressing questions and assisting with directions or site information.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when necessary.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement as directed during emergency response activities or incidents.
