You will conduct routine patrols and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with site leadership. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Control entry and exit at designated access points by checking identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor badges, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing visitors to approved areas.
  • Coordinate vehicle and delivery access by verifying shipping and receiving documentation, maintaining truck and trailer logs, and communicating with site contacts regarding dock appointments and restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns, documenting events, and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services when directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, and report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns.
