Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Dispatch Desk in Plano, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will play a key role in access control, communication, and customer service, supporting a secure environment for staff and visitors. Requirements

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Monitor and dispatch security-related communications for incidents and critical situations within logistics and distribution locations, maintaining a calm and problem-solving approach.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel and/or external responders to help to deter unauthorized activities and support incident response.
  • Document and report incidents, suspicious activities, and security-related concerns as per established protocols.
  • Assist in the implementation of security-related measures and protocols specific to logistics and distribution environments.
