As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Specialist in Lenexa, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help maintain a secure environment. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and permissions for entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Assist in implementing and following site-specific security-related procedures and policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client.
Provide customer service by addressing questions, assisting with directions, and responding to inquiries from staff and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate, following Allied Universal and site procedures.
