Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Point in Joliet, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. You will interact with visitors and employees, provide exceptional customer service, and support a secure environment. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at logistics and distribution locations. Control access to the premises by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues. Monitor and report any irregularities or suspicious activities in and around the logistics and distribution location. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and other personnel regarding access control procedures and site rules. Document all security-related activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal policies. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
