About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Point Monitor in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and managing entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with access-related inquiries and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or hazards observed during assigned shifts.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related operations and emergency response activities as needed.
