About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Driver in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and communication skills will help maintain a secure environment for personnel and assets. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the distribution facility by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, addressing questions and/or concerns from staff and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
Monitor surveillance equipment and report any security-related concerns or irregularities to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in daily reports and logs as required by site procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities, such as evacuations or medical incidents, when appropriate and as directed by Allied Universal or site management.
