As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and interacting with staff and visitors to provide excellent customer service. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to loading docks, warehouses, and distribution areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics facility and its perimeter to observe for unusual conditions and/or potential security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for logistics and distribution environments.
Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related breaches, or emergencies in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuation procedures and coordination with local authorities as needed.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any hazards or maintenance issues observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
