About The Position
As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Mabelvale, AR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
- Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related operations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
- Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders when appropriate to address security-related situations.
