As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by communicating security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual conditions.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site protocols.
Document and report security-related incidents and/or concerns according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
