As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Attendant in Hardeeville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Willingness to work at sites with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support daily operations.
- Assist with visitor management, deliveries, and other access control duties as required by site procedures.
