As a Security Officer Lobby with Active Clearance in Apopka, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access activities, monitor front desk operations, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, visitor reception duties, and/or emergency response support at a front desk location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with site policies and front desk protocols.
  • Answer phones, greet employees, visitors, and contractors, and communicate security-related information, directions, and/or site instructions in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and escalate concerns through appropriate channels when needed.
  • Maintain required logs, reports, and front desk records related to visitor management, deliveries, and other security-related activities within a regulated location.
