Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and supporting a professional lobby experience at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary badges, and communicating front desk activity to appropriate site contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through required security-related documentation and communication channels.
  • Answer questions, direct guests to the appropriate destination, and support reception-related duties while helping to uphold company policies and front desk protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including notifying designated personnel, sharing relevant information, and assisting with orderly lobby and entry point operations.
