As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access control, monitor cameras and alarms, and document security-related activity with clear, professional communication. You will be a visible point of contact, helping to reduce unwanted activity while delivering customer service with calm confidence. Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Staff the front desk post, greet and screen visitors, issue visitor credentials, manage the sign-in and sign-out process, and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with access procedures.
  • Monitor entry points and lobby activity, observe for unusual behavior or policy violations, and take actions that help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting management and/or emergency services as required and following established response protocols.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs, document incidents and daily activity, and communicate key information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
