Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen employees, visitors, and deliveries, and support orderly access to the site. You will stay visible, conduct routine patrols as needed, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with operations teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months of security experience
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries at designated entry points using approved methods such as identification verification, access credential checks, and item screening in support of access control at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Control access for inbound and outbound traffic by verifying appointments, directing vehicles to the proper staging areas, and documenting entries and exits according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision and completing required documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around operational areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter policy violations and/or unauthorized access; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
