As a Front Desk Officer in a residential location, you will welcome residents and guests, manage visitor access, answer calls, and maintain accurate logs while staying alert to unusual activity. You will support security-related screening and incident reporting, communicate clearly with property staff and residents, and represent Allied Universal with integrity and a people-first approach. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, identification requirements, and security-related policies.
  • Monitor the front desk area, camera systems, and alarm or intercom activity as assigned, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Maintain visitor logs, issue guest and vendor passes as directed, coordinate deliveries, and assist with directions and general information while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Complete required incident reports and daily activity documentation, communicate relevant updates during shift transitions, and support emergency response activities per post orders.
