As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, patients, and staff, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access and visitor sign-in processes to help to deter unauthorized entry into the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the healthcare environment.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including communication with appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
  • Maintain a professional presence at the front desk to help to deter unwanted activity and provide information or assistance as needed.
  • Document and report security-related incidents or unusual activity according to site and Allied Universal procedures.
