As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine foot patrols of guest areas, lobbies, and back-of-house spaces, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls with calm, clear communication. You will deliver a welcoming guest experience while documenting observations and partnering with onsite teams. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hotel and resort location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, corridors, meeting and event areas, back-of-house spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns to report.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, fire or alarm activations, and guest concerns, and coordinate notifications to site leadership and/or public responders as directed.
  • Monitor and help control access to restricted areas, service corridors, and loading or receiving areas, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor and vendor check-in procedures per site requirements.
  • Complete timely reports and logs, document observations and actions taken, and communicate shift updates to oncoming personnel and Allied Universal supervision.
